    WHAT HAPPENED?

A Miles Robinson deflected header mere seconds from the full-time whistle took Thursday's semifinal to extra-time, which saw substitute duo Haji Wright and Gio Reyna light up the AT&T and help win the game 3-1. It was almost an embarrassing night for the USMNT, especially given key absences for Jamaica, but they got the crucial win in the end. Robinson pointed towards the all-important result after the match, even if he did acknowledge it "wasn't pretty".

  • WHAT ROBINSON SAID

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

While Robinson was at fault for Jamaica's goal on Thursday – which came within seconds of being the deciding moment – he has enjoyed an incredible season for club and country this term. He has steadily become a stalwart in Gregg Berhalter's side for the big games, playing the full 90 in each of the Nations League knockouts this year, as well as throughout the 2022 World Cup.
